No Gas? No Charcoal? No Problem!
Always wanted to own your own BBQ grill but can’t really be bothered to light up charcoal or order a gas tank? Afraid that neighbours will complain from too much smokey-ness? Why not consider an electric BBQ!
Napoleon Grills’ latest offering comes in an electric version – the Pro285e (“e” stands for electric, of course!). Part of the TravelQ series, this compact grilling machine has the same cooking surface dimensions as the Pro285 and TQ285 2 burner gas versions. And just like the Pro285, you can have it both as a table top BBQ or on a cart.
Don’t be fooled by its 1500 watt burner – others in the market might be higher, but the Napoleon electric grill goes up to 315 degrees Celsius because of a well-designed double skin hood which provides better insulation to keep the heat when you’re doing some indirect cooking. It also comes with a temperature gauge which helps you take the guess work out of BBQing.
With the optional cart, you’ll also get 2 removable side tables for your convenience. Little details on the cart such as tool hooks, a bottle opener and condiments rack make it a very-handy grill assistant to have around. Other optional accessories like the griddle for grilling up eggs, warming rack for extra cooking space, and TravelQ 3 piece toolset, all cooking and cleaning a breeze!
Lastly, if you’re worried about cleaning, the cooking grids, burner, drip tray and grease collector are all removable for easy cleaning. They’re also easy to put back together as well.
The Napoleon Pro285E Electric BBQ Grill goes for $620 on its own, and its an extra $260 for the cart. A full length cover for both the Grill and Cart is $70.
